New Jerseys for the Victoria Team
The Victoria Cranes and the Pearls have received a new set of jerseys courtesy of the Federation of Ethnic Communities Council of Australia (FECCA) and Post Office.
The New jerseys, which will go a long way in facilitating the team and boosting its image as it promotes the Ugandan culture, were handed over to the Victoria Cranes coach Habibu and team manager Vincent Ssemaganda. The final uniform design, which is in national colours, was reached by the different soccer officials including Robert Ssemakula, a Uganda Crane ex-international living in Victoria.
“These are the promises we made as an executive, to reach out to the team and try and help whenever we can. We are all so deep into work that we forget our health and sports is one of the things that will help us recover, and also bring us together,” said Norman Katende, the Uganda Community president.
The Association is in the final stages of creating replica jerseys for Ugandans in Victorian as they support their team.
